Free information and taster sessions
in Waveney and South Norfolk
We can visit your community group, health support group, sheltered housing to run free information and taster sessions about the benefits of staying active as we get older.
These sessions are individually tailored to your participants’ needs and interests and typically last between one and two hours. Our qualified instructor will answer questions about keeping fit with long term health conditions, explain the benefits of being active on both our physical and mental wellbeing, share tips on how to stay strong and mobile in our later years and demonstrate some simple exercises that we can all do at home to improve balance and reduce the risk of falls.
We also give a short taster of our chair-based and OTAGO exercise sessions and can share information about other sources of support for keeping active, such as Versus Arthritis and Parkinson’s UK.
Our Outreach Pogramme has been made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.
