Here’s what some of our clients have to say about our classes in Waveney and South Norfolk
“I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005. At the time I was very active. Over the years my mobility has reduced and I am no longer able to participate in many of the available exercise classes. Several falls have also knocked my confidence and reduced my comfort in getting out and about. I have been so pleased to discover Sophie’s exercise classes. The chair work is very good for keeping my body moving and working my muscles in a safe manner. The walking elements of the class have really helped me regain some measure of confidence. I know I will leave the class with renewed positivity. The class was also great fun!”
“I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and in a very dark place. I was told about Back in the Groove’s exercise class in Holton. Well what good luck! Sophie is such a competent, caring teacher. What I have achieved in the past year: self confidence, physical ability, to walk unaided, know how to keep myself from falling by using my body correctly and releasing all those stiff muscles. The atmosphere in the class has given me the confidence to realise that I am no different from anyone else, even if I have Parkinson’s. Finally a Monday morning full of laughter; it starts the week off so well.”
I started the classes after my Dad died and needed a lifeline outside of my family. My medical conditions had got worse through stress. Through the classes I found the confidence to get out and about; before this my peripheral neuropathy was so bad I felt my balance was off and so I didn’t get out much. However now I feel confident to go about town and even get the bus to see my daughters. It is drastically improved my family life as it means I am less dependent on them. It has physically helped me with my balance and coordination and therefore my mobility. These classes have really been a coping mechanism for me; not only physically but emotionally. I feel a lot less anxious now. I have found lots of new friends and regularly see them outside of the classes. It has become a huge support network.
